Ariana hops are a new variety developed at the Hop Research Center in Huell, Germany, and release in 2016. Ariana is the daughter of Herkules and a wild male and is a high-yielding variety.

Ariana hops have key flavors that include passion fruit, pineapple, quince, pear, jasmine and tangerine. It is also fruity, with intense berry character of black currant, gooseberry, and strawberry. Also has citrus high notes (particularly grapefruit and Lime) when used in late additions with slight resinous and herbal tones. Some smooth oak, tobacco, vanilla, and caramel.

Typically used in only late boil additions, including dry hopping.

Used For: Wheat, Pale Ale & Saison
