The CarbonSnake™ is manufactured of food-grade, ethanol resistant plastics.
The hose assembly requires 85g (3oz) of distiller’s granular activated carbon
(GAC). For best results, we recommend a beverage-grade low-neutral pH, pre-washed granular LIQUOR QUIK stone carbon, 20x40
or 20x50
mesh (0.30/0.42mm-0.85mm size particles).
The CarbonSnake™ is an inexpensive, easy-to-use carbon purification system. It will remove unwanted odours and flavors from fermentated alcobases (i.e. distiller’s yeast/nutriend blends, SuperYeast™, turboyeast) and ethanol distillates (i.e. grain or sugar alcohols).
