This is the complete set up needed to add a valve to your picnic cooler that has a thick wall like the 50Qt Coleman. The two nuts allow you to adjust for the correct wall thickness but also very important is getting the valve out far enough so that shut off handle closes completely. Barb is 1/2" and shank is 7/8".
(Note: Will not work on the the 5gal upright coolers sold at Canadian Tire)
