This simple recipe produces a great drinking beer. It comes with a warm-fermenting Ale yeast (Nottingham).
If you have the ability to ferment at 12-15C (53-59F) then upgrading to a Lager yeast is a great way to get the authentic Canadian lager crispness and flavour. The yeast upgrade includes 2 packets to increase the pitch rate which is required for a cool fermenting lager beer.
