SCA Boisé (SCA171): “SCA” is composed of a complex blend of oak chips toasted at a range of different temperatures.
Chips can be charred and then soak in spirits to simulate aging in a previously used oak barrel.
Recommended usage for beer is 1 to 2 oz per 5 gallons. Recommended usage for white wine is 1 to 1.5 cups per 5 gallons. Recommended usage for white wine is 2 to 3 cups per 5 gallons.
