It has 5 times the number of vitamins and minerals compared to raw sugar (Magnesium, Calcium, Iron, and Zinc), and a significant quantity of antioxidants. Panela retains all the plants original flavor and nutritional benefits and is 95% in fermentable sugars. It's commonly referred to as a "Natural-Brown Sugar," making it perfect for Rum distillation.
