Useful for cooling down your hot wort samples to room temperature for pH testing.
Place your sample in the cup, then drop it in a bowl of ice water. Cool your sample for reading within a minute or two. The electrode on your pH meter will thank you for limiting your testing to 20°-25°C samples by lasting several years longer!
